Our Story
How It All Began
Word of Faith Prophetic Church was born out of a prophetic mandate — a divine instruction to establish a place where the Word of God would be taught without compromise and the prophetic would operate with integrity. What began as a small gathering of committed believers has, by God's grace, grown into a vibrant assembly that draws people from across Lagos and beyond.
Located in Oregun, Ikeja — at the heart of Lagos — the church serves as a spiritual landmark for those seeking genuine encounter with God. Our doors are open to everyone: the searching, the faithful, the broken, and the bold. We believe that the church is meant to be a hospital for the hurting and a training ground for the called.
Over the years, lives have been transformed, families restored, businesses redirected, and destinies unlocked through the prophetic ministry and pastoral care that define this assembly. We remain committed to the assignment God has entrusted to us, and we carry it with humility, passion, and an unwavering devotion to His Word.

Our mission is to teach the uncompromised Word of God with clarity and conviction, provide genuine prophetic ministry with integrity and accountability, and raise a generation of believers who are equipped to impact their families, communities, and nations for the kingdom of God.
Our Mandate

We are mandated to operate in the prophetic with accuracy and humility, to pastor God's people with sincerity, and to create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is given room to move, heal, deliver, and direct. This is not performance — this is purpose.
Senior Pastor
Prophet Dapo Adeniyi, PhD
Prophet Dapo Adeniyi is the Founder, President, and Prophetic Leader of Prophetic Impact Ministries, an interdenominational outreach ministry established on 15th August 2004 with a prophetic mandate of liberation. He serves as Senior Pastor of Word of Faith Prophetic Church, the ministry's church arm, founded in April 2012 and based in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. He is also the Chancellor of Word of Faith Academy (WOFA), a leadership development and academic training institute.
A dynamic preacher and teacher of God's Word, Dr. Adeniyi carries a deep passion for seeing lives transformed through the power of the Holy Ghost. His ministry is marked by a strong commitment to biblical teaching, discipleship, and prayer, and to raising believers and leaders equipped to influence every sphere of society for Christ.
Beyond the pulpit, Dr. Adeniyi is an academic, researcher, author, mentor, coach, and prolific writer whose published work spans both Christian literature and peer-reviewed academic journals. Based in the United Kingdom, he is an HCPC-registered Organisational Psychologist, leadership coach, researcher, peer reviewer, and organisational development practitioner with over 22 years of international experience spanning higher education, consultancy, mental health support, leadership development, and workplace wellbeing.
He holds a Doctorate in Human and Organisational Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) from Touro University Worldwide, California, USA, and an MBA in Organisational Behaviour from Business School Netherlands, alongside postgraduate training in leadership coaching, organisational development, clinical psychology, and psychometric assessment.
Dr. Adeniyi is married to Kemi Adeniyi, who serves alongside him as Co-Pastor and Finance Operations Manager. Together, they are blessed with four children.
